Copyright Procedure
Understanding your rights and ensuring the protection of your creative work is crucial in today's digital age. At Marital Separation Agreement, we honor and respect the intellectual property rights of others and are committed to upholding these values across our platform. If you believe that your work has been copied or used in a way that infracts on your copyright, we have established a straightforward procedure to address your concerns and take appropriate action.
Submitting a Copyright Infringement Notice
If you come across content on our site that you believe infringes upon your copyright, the first step is to send us a formal notification. This notification must be in writing and sent to our designated copyright agent at the following email: dmca@maritalseparationform.com. To ensure a swift and effective response, please include the following information in your notice:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
- A clear identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- A description of where the material you claim is infringing is located on our site (preferably with specific URL links).
- Your contact information, including address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement by you, made under the penalty of perjury, that the above information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.
Our Response to Your Infringement Notice
Upon receiving a valid infringement notice, it is our policy to promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content. We will also take steps to notify the user who uploaded the contested material, offering them the opportunity to respond with a counter-notice if they believe the content was removed due to a mistake or misidentification.
Filing a Counter-Notice
If you have received notification from us that your content was removed due to an alleged copyright infringement and you believe this decision was made in error, you are encouraged to send a counter-notice. Similar to the infringement notice, the counter-notice must be in writing and include the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the content that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the content appeared before it was removed or disabled.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the content was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the content.
- Your name, address, telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district, or if you're outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which the service provider may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided notification of the alleged infringement.
We are dedicated to following the laws and regulations that govern copyright and intellectual property rights. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we work together to protect your rights and the rights of others.
